Proclamation of the Kingdom

The Proclamation calls us to change – to follow Christ the King as servant. The Kingdom here is about the inclusion of all peoples bonded together by prayer. This togetherness, linked by prayer and love for one another, is represented by the great tree which has grown from a small mustard seed.

On the theme of the Rosary of the Mysteries of Light 2006-10

The leaves of the tree are composed of the ‘Hail Mary’ in many different languages and scripts, recalling the sharing of common beliefs and worship and the links of the parish to other church and communities around the world – all nations united by prayer under one sun. “The time has come. The Kingdom of God is at hand.”
