The 4 No. high level corridor windows illustrate references which are particularly associated with St Walburga, and flood the formerly dull corridors with light and colour.

Peace and calm after the storm, illustrated by the dove carrying an olive branch; an ear of corn; an interlocking cross recalling the Celtic cross of St Walburga’s time; and Sacred ‘Oil’ and representing the Holy Spirit and healing.

St Walburga

The main school hall window is made up of 14 different stained glass panels, altogether making the image of St Walburga crossing the stormy sea on her Christian mission to Germany.

As the storm threatens to wreck the small boat she prays for a safe journey.
